About

My work is highly personal and explores themes surrounding my own views and concerns with life, identity, self-expression and emotion. The snapshot and its value in contemporary culture are of particular interest to me.  I consider myself an ‘obsessive’ photographer and I collate large amounts of personal images.  I have recently returned from completing the initial stage of a self-initiated project exploring life on board a cruise ship as photographer.

As a graduate and fellow of a BA (hons) Contemporary Photographic Practice degree I have developed a wide range of technical and photographic skills, as well as critical concerns within my work as an artist.  I have extensive knowledge of traditional techniques as well as a high level of digital image manipulation and production ability. Through self-initiated projects I have developed research and analytical skills, which strengthen my practice.  Through my site-specific and collaborative work I have developed and demonstrated thorough negotiation and communication skills.
